About
ASCII Robotics
We build software products for roboticists—not integration services.
Our Story
ASCII Robotics started as an integration company—and we learned firsthand how much ceremony ROS 2 workspaces demand for what is often a handful of Python scripts.
We pivoted to building products. Our first release is Reach: a lightweight toolchain that replaces scattered config with a single reach.toml and a CLI with hot reload.
Our team brings research experience from Kyutech, working with collaborative robots and ROS. That background shapes the tools we ship—built by people who have felt the pain we're solving.
Our Mission
To build robotics software that developers actually want to use—open, focused, and free of unnecessary ceremony.
Our Approach
Ship products, not proposals. Open source by default. Listen to roboticists and solve the problems they hit every day.
